Great statue of Lola Flores, it’s quite large, not to scale and takes up a portion of the road.
Stopping at apartment overlooking
A good meeting point in Jerez when walking the flamenco streets.
Super cute
Beautiful part of Jerez, well worth seeing. Lots of hidden gems along the way.
Great sculpture
A monument dedicated to the artist who popularized flamenco and the folk art of the Andalusian Roma among millions of Spaniards. In 1994, she was honored by the Spanish government with a gold medal for her lifetime achievements. She was born María Dolores Flores Ruiz on January 21, 1923 in Jerez de la Frontera, in Andalusia. As a child, she performed in her father's bar, and at the age of fifteen she joined a flamenco band. In 1940 she left Andalusia and settled in Madrid. She made a career as a flamenco artist. She was a real star. She died in 1995 in Madrid.
Very important place in Jerez de la Frontera, Zambombas for Christmas in the San Miguel neighborhood. Very characteristic of Jerez
It's pretty, it makes like a mini round but you can get closer without problems.
I expected something else without previously seeing it here. Even so, I give it a 5 because it is beautiful to see and the charm of the surrounding houses.
In her native Jerez and within her neighborhood stands this monumental bronze statue of Lola Flores. Her countrymen offer their affection to the most universal ambassador of Jerez.
